Member Spotlight – Wynter Kettlewell

Wynter KettlewellPlease welcome Wynter Kettlewell, of Commonwealth Care Management LLC. Wynter, a solo practitioner, practices in Winchester, and the counties of Frederick, Warren, Clarke, Shenandoah, and Page.

Wynter was drawn to the field of Aging Life Care after working in acute care and home health and seeing patients fall through the healthcare gaps all the time. Says Wynter, “Patients and families would be overwhelmed, completely lost on what to do and where to go. I just saw so many opportunities to help. I was talking to my friend Pam Reynolds, ALCA member, about my ideas to start case management in the community and she led me here. And I am so thankful! Thank you, Pam, for everything!! Also shout out to Megan Descutenr, another ALCA member, who has been so very generous and supportive since I’ve been on this journey!”

Acute care and home health has been the majority of Wynter’s case managing experience. She is excited to learn more about public health and do more community networking. She is also looking forward to the networking opportunities, education, and the guidance and direction from experienced Aging Life Care members.

Wynter is especially interested in nutrition and community engagement. She knows how important it is for aging individuals to have access to healthy foods, and have the opportunity to maintain and create healthy relationships in their community.

Wynter’s primary language is English, and she is learning Spanish.

In her free time, she likes to play and hang out with her children, Cole and Jolie. She also loves spending time with family and friends, gardening, baking, cooking, exercising, walking, and hiking.

Wynter can be contacted via email at wynter.kettlewell@gmail.com.

Welcome to ALCA, Wynter!
