Member Spotlight – Lisa Smith

Meet Lisa Smith. Lisa is a new member of ALCA, and she practices in Charlottesville, VA, and the counties of Albemarle, Fluvanna and Nelson.

Lisa reports she began her health care career in skilled nursing facilities. She fell in love with the residents and continued to visit until they passed away. She knew she would get back to that population eventually. She also worked in Orthopedics for many years, and feels activity to preserve health and independence is very important. Lisa currently works for Commonwise Home Care.

Lisa is excited to be a member of ALCA, and is looking forward to everything from the networking to the education.

In her free time, Lisa enjoys the outdoors, spending time with her family, traveling, and church.
