Member Spotlight – Ellen S. Platt

Member Spotlight: August 15, 2014

Welcome, Ellen S. Platt, MEd, CRC, CCM! Ellen is both a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor, and a certified Professional Geriatric Care Manager, who has spent over 25 years providing care management and case coordination services to those with catastrophic injury, chronic diseases and disabilities. Out of that arose the need for the same types of services specifically for seniors and their caregivers. Her primary practice is now focusing on working with caregivers and aging families, and the large variety of issues and needs, specific to that population. Ms. Platt is owner of The Option Group, which she founded almost four years ago, in response to the needs of older adults and their children or caregivers in the community. She has been an active member of the Mid-Atlantic Region of NAPGCM as well as with the Baltimore Unit and is looking forward to a great turnout at the 2014 conference in Baltimore, September 28-30.
